Some news:
(Nationwide)Looks like Allgaier isn't coming back to Penske next year, as the team doesn't have sponsorship in place. Also, Nascar is going to an E15 fuel blend for all the top series next year, and will also have fuel injection in Cup by the Summer. |

Pity for Allgaier, young talent coming through the ranks hopefully not missing out on a drive in 2011...

Yeah, Verizon isn't coming back, so this leaves at least one Penske car unfunded and unlikely to come back in Nationwide next year.

Update: RedBull to run 2 cars next year. One is the 4 (was 82) with Kahne, while the other is Vickers with the 83. Speed officially let go for next year.

Will there actually be a Richard Petty Motorsports team next year?

I wouldn't doubt the king to get something together for next year. Also, Paul Menard's number will be the 27, not 32 as we all thought.

Verizon is tried of it's hands being tied by Sprint in Nascar (I believe no on site advertising is allowed). The Indycar team sponsorship might be two cars next year.

Yeah, I think this is why many sponsors like AT&T went away. That whole "Official XXX of nascar/exclusitivity" thing is really working against Nascar, I think.

The noise around the death of RPM wont go away, indeed even Mr Ambrose is staying in the US in case he has to scramble a new deal together Here
Where is the next seat in blue oval colours should the RPM boat sink? |

For the Wood Brothers, nothing announced yet since January, when they were thinking about running full time for 2011. No idea if it's still happening. Elliot was in 'Dega for Latitude 43, maybe there's a something in the works between the #21 and #26?
Also, the possibility of a short cup grid is becoming more real, with the Petty troubles, and now Robby Gordon not running his team full time next year. |
