STEALTHY should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Both cars demand concerted effort, skill and fitness to drive over the race journey. It's good to have them swap seats and convey some of the notable differences between very different cars.

Whincup had to fight the immense Gs to his neck and head, while Jensen had to endure the heat stress.
Lol, all those people who say it isn't a sport are just butthurt that they actually only follow a game, not a sport....

Saw all the transporters today going across CityLink to Albert Park, DJR, SBR, 888, WSR, a couple I couldn't see well enough. Prob just the QLD contingent it would be a safe bet

Park up was this evening for V8 teams, most trucks would have been through a truck wash out of town and might have gathered together there for the run into town.

don't they usually travel somewhat together? I have seen a bundle of the QLD team transporters travelling down the pacific hwy together for an EC round few years ago, and again for the OP round

Most of them are usually near each other, hell they're based out of two main areas, both heading towards the same place, at the same time... It's inevitable that they're going to be close to each other.

I can remember driving past the 888, SCAR, HRT, WSR and SBR transporters on the Freeway one afternoon the week after the WA round!

you should call the UN and offer your services as a translater, world peace in a day.

yep full of sarcasm.

seriously though i don't care what your smoking or what excuses FPR pull out of the black book about "testing set-up's" etc. even on a **** day that car is at worst top 20, Frosty and even Dumbrell are wiping the floor of him.

wonder how close they are to giving Moff Jnr a call??? after NZ were back on a permanant cicuit and one that Moff's raced at. so another crap performance in NZ could we see "Moffat" on the side of the #6 Falcon at Winton?????

So Qualifying was on yesterday and there's just a few posts here slagging Steven Richards.

Appears the Interest-o-meter is reading a tad low.............

Maybe the Interest-O-Meter won't sky rocket until the silly season starts up again, remember its only the race season at the moment

Is wasn't the last lap, but it was a classic case of brain fade. Gricey would be proud.

I think it was a couple from the end rather than the last lap.

Rick went for a dive towards the front from the start, and ended up out wide, off the track, and lost a few spots. Also had a spin, but I'm not sure if that was related to the same incident or not.... got home from work in time for lap 3, and had missed that bit already.

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place.
