It certainly looks purposeful. Hope it goes as well as it looks. F1 needs Ferrari and Red Bull to give Mercedes a run for its money.

It might be just me, but they all look hideous. Trimming the regs on the front wing has simply pushed all the aero trickery onto the area from the wing to the side of.
Look at all the components in this area on the Ferrari, for example, surely the driver can barely get near enough to the car to clamber in! I am not sure where they are with the 2021 regs, but I hope they make the bodywork and floor from the front wing to side pod as a clean area. Ironically for cars designed for pure speed and efficiency, they sadly look so clumbersome. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk |

Mclaren running this pic on their car launch page.
https://www.mclaren.com/racing/team/...-car-launches/ surely having a bit of fun at Mr. GingerSpice's expense! |

yeah the colours look sharp!
just looking at their store and a bit surprised that most of their kit seems to be without sponsor logos/patches on them. some stuff has the Renault logo, but a lot of the 2020 items just feature just the team name. https://www.mclarenstore.com/teamwear.html was hoping to find something with 'a better tomorrow' logo on it. typically the new kit comes out at the same time as the car launch/livery launch...maybe they are still waiting on some new sponsors? anyways, speaking of the evil that F1 do i should probably be offended by cig advertising, but i am actually very happy to see 'a better tomorrow' on the MCL35 and the 'mission win now' on the SF1000 |

McLaren is definitely doing something different with their engine cover (unless my eyes are tricked). They seem to have a flat cover over the rear axle. Maybe that is why they had the late 90s launch shot: that was state of the art back then until Ferrari introduced the coke bottle neck with the 2002 car.
I would like to see a top shot. |

I see Renault did not have the RS20 ready for their own launch,
and Cyril was right at home using his primary skill. https://f1i.com/news/367473-abitebou...ar-launch.html |

There are also suggestions (although I'm not sure if they are credible) that the choice of Red for the INEOS part above the airbox is intended to look like the car is wearing a red cap. |

Alfa Romeo
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/a...-2020/4685145/ Most likely testing livery, but as in the past, I absolutely love their testing livery and wish they would run it all season long. Richard |
