Dont count on it, Vale is looking ominously quick, just a little behind Colin everywhere!
Col is always quick in testing, but he doesnt get any quicker in a race weekend! |

Colin has never been this consistantly quick in testing before. And the shootout last year doesn't count cos it was in the wet.

And the little man cometh...
Pedro-bot leaves Qatar with the quickest time of the week, a 1:55.471. Oh yes, and Ilmor never cracked the 2 minute barrier... http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/moto...id=3§ion=1 |

For me I am hoping that Pedrosa is an abject failure this year. Why?
Coz Honda have a world champion that the dont want and that they have invested now time in to develop the bike. THe RC212 was built SOLELY around Pedrosa and Hayden cant even fot on the stupid looking sack of tates, he is losing out on top speed coz HRC wont even build him a fairing that he is able to tuck behind. This total lack of respect for the man that won THEM the world championship I feel is utterly disrespectful and shows Honda to be exactly what they have always been and that is devoid of all emotion and feeling, thats the ONLY reason why Rossi left them and the main reason why Hicky was messed around last year. I hope Pedrosa is a total faliure and Melandri or whowver beats him, it wont be Nicky coz he simply cant fit on the bike! When you consider what happened in Estoril, the attitude of HRC is somply unfathomable to build a bike that their world champion rider doesnt even feel comfortable on, its insanity. You might be getting two races in the US, Honda can exploit Hayden in a new market yes they cant even be botehred to make hi a fairing. Its not really Dani's fault I guess but for his sake I hope the bike is a pup as I just want Honda to really fail this year for what they have done. I mean they will give Elias a ride after one ride, the rest of teh year he was utter rot! |

Looking like a Rossi vs. Pedrosa fight then. But then, is this a surprise? Not really!
The corner speeds were awesome, very spectacular! Two weeks now! |

Rossi and Pedro are looking ominously quick. I think Pedro could have taken the Beemer if he hadn't run wide at the second corner, it would have been even closer nevertheless.
Unfortuately I missed the live show and had to watch the highlights at 18:30. The highlight show was an hour long but joined the track action ten minutes into the session. The live programme was scheduled to be an hour long, was the whole 45 minute session televised? Cheers Obi |

It was only a test-qualifying-session, but yet again a thriller between Rossi and Pedrobot...
Less than 2 weeks to go for the first round. |
