Just if anyone is interested I am getting rid of my box of scalextric stuff, I mainly have track pieces and one or two cars, just cheap ones though.
For more details just ask.

Did you know that the computer age has hit Scalextric full in the face, you can now buy a kit from Scalextric that allows you to race alone and still have an aponent!
The add on I have seen comes with a computer controlled Mercedes DTM car which has diferent dificulty settings to allow you to choose how hard you have to race.
Great idea if your better half only likes watching soap opera's, as obviously is it really a kids toy!!!!!!

Yep, looks like a nice bit of kit. Pity I have to spend £160 on a new engine for my RC car, I cooked my old one in an accident.

Hey what cars have you got? And what track pieces? I'm looking for a hump-backed bridge and some scenery stuff if anyones got anything to give away...

the cars are 2 basic cars I think from the chesap oval track from many monns ago. I mainly have 45 degree corners, straights, 1 crossover and banked corners plus the controllers, power packs and bridge/banked corner supports. don't have a humped back bridge sorry

Anybody remember the SRS specials that i think were made at the Spanish Scalextric factory, these had adjustable wheelbase and track, super fast motor as well as 2 axels and very light bodies.

My SRS 205 was banned at a local meet as it stuck like glue round the bends.

I seem to remember you could get a Lancia and Porsche GP.C body as well
