It's certainly early days, but you could be right. The kid had a tough start but has begun to show some form in the last two events.

I read an article on him a while ago, where he was quoted as saying that this was a "learning year" (but they all say that!) and that the toughest part of Australia was having to take it to the locals after a half hour practice on a foreign track.

We saw that given the opportunity to learn a circuit, he was quick. He showed that at Perth - qualified third on a damp track - after joining Baird, Forbes, Caratti and a few others at a test day the week before. Punted off in race one, but 20th to 6th in race two, and 5th in the final proved some redemption.

If he can get the same pre-race mileage at the upcoming events he could well be a factor; not for race wins (still too early for that) but certainly a regular front runner.

The same goes for young Moffat (James) - he's a talent. Stubborn like his father, but gritty and quietly determined.

I wonder how CAMS justified giving the management of Minis to such an unproven organisation just cause they had a lot of money. While money is important in motorsport and you cant do it without money management of a category needs more. there was a lot of negativity to mini in the firat place with everyone saying it wouldnt work and it seems the proof is coming home to roost.

Hey Flagger, I think someone (I wonder who..lol) has hacked into your computer and is posting as you! If you care to re-post, in English with some grammar inserted, I'll comment.

Basically having lots of money is not just the answer to being a success
