Expanding to other buildings on the site wouldn't be too bad, as long as they keep all similar stalls in one place (eg. all book stalls together, all works of art etc.) and issue maps to everyone on entry. You had to go outside to watch the rallying and auto testing, or to visit the auction.

They should bring it to Excel in London's docklands, it is warm, in a civilised part of the country and local.

Well it would be local for a Cockeney!

It is far better in the centre of the country, e.g. Stoneleigh, than in a run down city like London.

We had a good show, Stephen. I spent a couple of days on the stand with Paul Harris, Chris Hobson and the regular BMMC team. It was a great opportunity to remind drivers who and what we are and where we fit into motorsport. Club Presidents past and present, Stuart Turner and Whizzo, were much in evidence to add their support.

It's a brilliant show, too, well worth a visit.
