Cult Arde Sux should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Seems to me Ray is stepping it up in the world of FF. I hope they don't go too radical for 03' with any updates. It seems that they have a good thing going, wouldn't want to pull a Mygale replay!

Ah, so nice to see Comtec being beaten by private new comers!

Mate, get real... That 02' Mygale was the biggest waste of time! Forget Murray because he didn't have any decent drivers, just look at Continetal. They run a very good car and they aborted mid-season too. The car went back many times to be re-designed. In the end it wasn't being used anywhere! ...and don't forget, Puddy, who made the Mygale work in the past was engineer at Continetal.

It was winnig races and on the front row at Benelux. You need good engineering teams, not just prep teams.

Cult.. Ray have been in the world of Formula Ford for 30 years always been fast just lacked the needed budget and drivers that brings, to make it big!

No one seems to remember the begining of 99 when a Ray in the hands of Marcus Ambrose was fighting for the lead with Kiesa in the much rated Mygale.

whatever happened to Swift? I remember they tried something with Swift-Cooper in '00ish

shame Vector went away too, I allways thought they were one of those teams that with proper budget and the ability to hold on to drivers could go somewhere. You gotta give Mick credit for literally running a constructorship out of a barn

Russfeld,
I think you will find that the Benelux boys, in the latter stages of this year, ran the Mygale 01 but still entered it as an 02 so as not to upset M Decoster. They certainly did that at the Festival.

Swift are still about, owned by Alan Cooper based at castle Combe. I think he is hoping to get a car out next year some time, but that was also the plan in 2001 so who knows!

That´s right; in Benelux the works team switched to 01's midseason since their biggest opponent was dominating with that car. I believe only three 02's were running at the end...

Matt,

I'm aware of Ray being around, i just am referring to their newest era design.

You're spot on re 99! Tom Sisley also had the car up front that same year. Ant' Davidson was test driving and his current Manager was bank rolling a lot of Ray's development.
Then again, I still think Ambrose is one of the best drivers to ever have sat in a current FF and he would have made anything work.

What must Joey Foster be thinking? He must not have been paying much where he was...

Well, if I am not mistaking, wasn´t the car that they used for Danielsson in the Winter Series actually the car that is to be used next year too?

Hello all you f/f fans etc.
My name is Jeff Harris, i`m one of the team owners together with Derek Phibb. Myself &Derek set Team jato motorsport up about 4or5 months ago. yes we wanted to bring James up from karts to cars & f/f was the best option for us as well as James. The name JATO is a name we liked the look of ,which at the time we did not realise that it was an abbreviation for Jet Assisted take-off.For our first race`s as a new team & our first Championship ,we were over the the moon when Alx Danielsson won for us,we were also delighted when we found out that James Harris Had also won best newcomers trothy,in only his second race weekend,a double whamee. We are entering into the F/F scholarship and Champioship rounds in 2003,James and possibly 2 other drivers in junior& senior, depending on testing& budgets. We want to continue winnig races& champion`ships,so if there are any serious racers with budgets ,who want to join a winning team and would like to share in the team spirit that we have, then why dont you give us a ring to discuss your future.Look at Autosport this week for contact no`s
etc.You`ll know when you`v been Jato`d.
