AMR, so run by Prodrive then? Could be a good run out before Le Mans.

Mariantic is reporting that Adrian Fernandez is linked to the AMR car at Sebring. And a full season in ALMS is possible.

I know that Chris Buncombe is one of the drivers as we were in the same team in the Celebrity Karting Challenge at Autosport International last week.

Since I will not be at Sebring, I REALLY hope this is true so I can see it and more importantly hear that beautiful Aston V12 one last time at Petit.

Cool! If that's true it will be a welcome addition. Adrian and his group were a big loss. One of, if not the most professional looking team in the paddock.

There has to be, Adrian can't hold up for the entire 12 hours without a 3rd driver.

I don't see that as being true, necessarily. He did it last year and said it was because he and Luis Diaz had run the Acura so much and already had everything setup for just the two of them and a third was not needed. With a new car, yes, he may opt to have a 3rd driver (also, sponsorship and/or funding from a 3rd would be nice and could play a part) but I don't think it's purely that he couldn't hold up for his share of duties on a two man Sebring assault.

If Kolles can do Le Mans with 2 drivers , why cant Fernandez do half distance with 2 drivers ?

2 driver lineups at Sebring are not unusual. Fernandez and Diaz did it, Smith and Dyson regularly have done it, Stefan Johansson did it a while back in his Gulf R8, etc. etc.

With the continual stream of gloom and doom lately, this is great news! I'm really happy to see Adrian coming back - and with a glorious sounding engine.

The entry list was updated and we are up to 36 cars now. I'm surprised there aren't more GTC cars on the list, wasn't there talk of a full slate of 10 cars for the season?

OT: the Atlantics are cancelled (all season long...) and the entry for the GT3 Challenge Cup (almost an endurance class...) has grown to a healthy 38 cars now.

Yeah, I'm a little bummed at the (lack of) support racing too. Especially on the World Challenge front. Guess that means more time ogling the ten women who get dragged there by their husbands.

Well, if you have anything interesting to say (ie. something more useful than, "I'll give you these beads if you show me your t*ts"), you might like to try talking to the female corner workers. They generally have not been "dragged there" and may in fact have coherent opinions on the racing. Assuming you do too...

I guess the only downside is that we tend to be a little more dressed than our spectator counterparts.

Hell, if springs doesn't get here - it might just snow on Friday. Last two days in Sebing you've had to scrape the ice off the windshields in the morning.
