Well whoever told you that is mistaken... Unfortunately Round 1 of the Series has been moved to July 22nd Mallory Park. We have drivers who are still finishing off building their cars, so Lydden will be a demo and display...

If Pat doesn't get himself a car sorted for Round 1 he might have to use it in the British Championship as well!

Be great to see an RS200 on track though, even if it is just a demonstration, so fingers crossed for that.

I've just realised that Andy Knowles isn't on the list. Was hoping to see his new and improved C2 at Lydden. Anyone know if he might be a late entry? If not, hope he makes it to the ERC.

Glad to see there will a Group B presence at Lydden this weekend even if not competing yet. Guess we'll have to be patient!!

I made myself a 1/43 scale model of Rob Gibson's MG Metro 6R4 as he demonstrated it last August, which I'm very proud of. Hope to get more 6R4 examples to photograph on Saturday and make into models over the coming months . Does anyone know if Robbo will be there this weekend?

Cheers, Steve

As far as I know Kevin's Swift has been finished and he is attending Lydden, also missing is the Pauwels team from the list. Surely final list can be posted now only 4 days for people to make up there mind and decide what to do Saturday. Unless of course you have F.B! which is a shame because with the new interest because of Top Gear many folks are eager just what they can expect to see for there first visit..

The finals normally start around 3, so I'd expect to all be over at half 4 at the very latest.

I see that they have updated the list a bit - a few more RX150s and Swifts. http://www.rct-entry.com/entries_BC_20120324.php

Still no sign of Knowles, Tapscott, Turpin, Howlin or Priddy... Hope that some of these enter as they are good modifieds.

I also note that they have separated the S1600 into a separate category (7 entries). I note that there are one or two Saxos on the list - I didn't think these were homologated anymore? Is there a chance they will be allowed to run in the ERC?

Hadn't there used to be a rule in the ERC that you could run a car for up to (I think) six years after the end of its FIA homologation? Does this still apply?

Several national championships seem to have even more liberal rules looking at the cars that run in Div 1a elsewhere. It makes sense really - gives new people a chance to get into the class and keeps up resale values for older cars.

Wonder if anyone will dare stick in an entry for a 205?!

Four years, not six:

I thought Turpin had given up on rallycross. I thought I read somewhere the VX220 had been converted for hill climbing? Shrimpton's the most notable absentee after displaying the car at Autosport International. Also no Kevin Proctor and shame Dave Bellerby hasn't got anyting to run in, had hoped he may give S1600 a whirl.
