Yep, but if they knew they could get a wild car start , I think they might go it alone.
Imagine Matthew white Motosport or Evans Group kicking some butt in the main race

They tried this several years ago. They struggled to get any Dev series teams to do it because it costs too much money.

As well as wear and tear on the car, they need to get all the necessary pit equipment (refuelling rigs is the big one) etc etc.

Doing Bathurst costs them nearly as much as the rest of their season put together.

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
personally i find this a little bit exciting, looking forward to seeing the XE do some demo laps. and watching the retro livery in action.

The last retro green livery we had went pretty well at bathurst

FPR won a race with a DJR license. Actually DJR don't even own the license do they?

Did FPR win a race on Fiore's license with BJR's sponsor on a car that came out of DJR's workshop that DJR don't own either?

Based on that logic DJR didn't win the title in 2010 either. It was a combination of Charlie S licence and Triple 8 with DJR only doing car prep.

Well Charlie was a shareholder, and Triple 8 were not engineering the car, nor was the driver provided by 888, so its apples to oranges really.

new number for caruso. moving to 300 for bathurst (apparantly some charity tie up)

this will be good as both cars would have been 36 on the scoring tower

still an issue with 88 and 888

Charlie owned REC, Triple 8 built bulk of the car and provided engineering support. DJR prepared and run the cars - much the same as now. More like red apples v green apples.

DJR car, DJR crew, DJR pit garage. DJR victory.
