I can forsee a camping disaster coming on. It wouldn't be a camping trip if nothing went wrong.

I'm not looking forward to putting the tent up tomorrow. I've just got visions of chasing it across the campsite and getting sopping wet in the process!

I wil be all right because my mate who is coming with me has brought an old caravan. The only problem is having to drive down to silverstone in gales force winds.

By the way, its rained here in Silverstone all afternoon and evening and its blowing a right gale... I hoep all you (happy) campers dont find it too soggy when ou arrive!
There is a very scary looking fairground set up right next to Jordan factory - be sure to check out the 'ball on an elastic band' thing! I'm trying to convice somebody to go on it with me, but so far no takers. Perhaps some ten tenthers are gonna pluck up the courage to have a go on it!!!! |

It's Thursday morning here in Kent and at the moment it's blue sky and no wind to speak of, lets hope it's the same at Silverstone although somehow I doubt it

The strategy worked a treat. Once said tent was in place, out came the beers.
Luckily the weather was kind(ish) at the time. |

I think our group managed to set a record for longest time to set up a tent, took us nearly two hours for a simple 6 man tent.
We were made to feel a little better by the sound of commotion, and turning to see a large tent clearly upside down, with 2 guys falling over it. These were the same guys who later employed an MG,a tow rope and a matress for a little fun.... |
