Well done Dan! You have just joined an exclusive club!

Excellent race from Danica - she certainly showed that women can race as well as men.

If only F1 was as interesting

That was the best Indy 500 for years!

Sheila - clearly you haven't watched F1 this year.

That was a great race, a shame Bourdais carshed out with 2 laps to go, and a shame Danica didn't win, but man Dan is on a role!!

I have KB - I'm afraid 20 starters as opposed to 33 going at well over 200 mph is no contest (oh and with a woman at the front on some laps as well)

The competition was nearly overcome by being Patrickized--crash to win!

She did pass for the lead under green, which was the one racing move she made all day that shows she has talent.

I will wait for a few days, after the press stops giving her a freebie to see how the crash is spoken of.

A person who did a similar thing from the front row years back, was ridiculed for as long as he drove, lets see how this pans out.

Great race. I really enjoyed it. I was up for most of the top five or six winning at the end, but Danica or Dan were my prefered choice.

Well done Dan

While Bourdais obviously won't be happy with the outcome, he has to get credit for making that wild outside move when they got mixed up with lapped traffic at one point. Very spectacular move

What happened to Bourdais? He suddenly fell off the radar, very late in the race...

Congratulations to Wheldon, and also to Danica. Great racing from most of the field!

Some kid named Foyt basically decided who would (or wouldn't) win, IMO. I think that Hornish had everybody's number.

He was running near the front (around the top 5, top 10) towards the end and was dicing with Buddy Lazier. I didn't see any replays, but I reckon he either made contact with Lazier or simply got too high in the corner and hit the marbles, drifting up into the wall, bringing out the final caution.

Seb proved a true champion he is, what I'm interested in, who could be Bruno's replacement for the next Champ Car race at Milwaukee next weekend if he's injured after Foyt made his advoidable collision and cost him the race.

Hopefully there won't be a need for a replacement, but then again, potential back-injuries are not to be taken lightly.

Great race, really enjoyed it a lot. A bit dissapointed for Danica, if she had just a few more laps worth of fuel on board maybe she could have had it...

I agree Buddy would be a good replacement if so, but he's been off the Champ Car sence for some time now.

I thought Buddy drove a great race as well.

Meira has got to be a future star if he isn't one already, last year he put in some great races and has done so far this year and particualy today.

Poor driving, nonetheless.

AJ Foyt IV completely ruined the race for me. That sort of driving is just unacceptable. I think the bar needs raising in terms of talent, not to mention credentials needed for some of these grid fillers to get through the door. He has been out there having accidents, causing accidents and driving way off the pace for too long now - the bloke just doesn't belong on the same racetrack. Time to give it up as a bad job AJ - for your own safety as well as others.
