Well, the weather forecast is looking better, but there may be a queue for the toilet........
From BBC News........... 110 people ill with stomach bug Households have been told water should be boiled before use Public health officials say 110 people in north Wales have now contracted a water-borne stomach bug. Some 70,000 households in Gwynedd and Anglesey will have to boil water into the new year while the source of the bug, cryptosporidium, is traced. |

Although, having realised yesterday that I'm already 6 kilos heavier than I was when I last sat in my racecar, I think this has given me a rapid way to get back to racing weight. It beats the gym.

Panic not folks. I used to work for a utility company and the dire effects of cryptosporidium are grossly exaggerated in the media when they go into panic mongering mode. The vast majority of people would not be affected at all.
I suppose it wouldn't do any harm to drink bottled and boil your kettle properly for your brews though. Paul, a shower poses no risk at all - unless you drink it. |

I assume he's referring to beer which would be uncontaminated and should be drunk in place of water. Except by marshals and drivers, of course, non of whom would consider touching alcahol over a race week-end.

Hi i would like to take this oppertunity , to thank Diz and all the officials, marshals recovery men etc who made today a great experience. I may have "under performed" in my own eyes, ( helped by the unpredictability of the wether, and the slippery conditions, but I realy enjoed today and yesterday, and am greatfull to all those who made it happen, and also made some new friends. cheers Diz

Likewise, thanks to Ian Smith, Richard Peacock, all the officials and marshals, this was one of the most enjoyable race meetings of the year.
Shame about the weather, (I'd invested in slicks for the weekend!) but it was a really great event to compete in |

A great weekend for me too. I was using the test day to try out a car that I have just bought and a combination of four year old tyres, nearly 50bhp more than I'm used to...and a dogleg gearbox that was totally alien to me, meant I spent more time on the grass or sideways than going forwards. I packed up that car after the second test session...went home and got my olde faithful.
Qualifying in saloons A was a bit hectic to say the least with some interesting driving techniques going on, but a great set of races all in which, looking at the comments from marshalls, drivers and word of mouth from spectators, was entertaining! |

Great day - the Caterham/single seater race in the dusk with a grid determined by how quickly you got to the holding area was a highlight of the season - haven't had so much fun in ages!

We'll I went down as a spectator/emergency spare parts delevery boy/ giver of you dont want to do it like that advice...
And I thoughly enjoyed it. dispite being at a rce track just about every other weekend, thats the first time this year i've actually stood and watched some racing. 28 cars on a track like anglesey doesnt give you time to think even as a spectator never mind a driver... for me the 2 sports and saloon classes stood out with a huge mix of cars, and experience levels, and some very good racing. So thanks to all the drivers, teams, orgaisers and marshalls I had a great day. the only trouble now is that the old man has renewed his hankering for an Imp cheers Graham |
