A new picture from their website...

Looks like a good circuit, I suppose the only potential downside is that it's location might limit spectator numbers. But it's probably just close enough for me to consider a visit some time.

I really hope Formula Vee will go there in 08. Need to find a meeting to visit this year though not starting to regret not having also seen the old circuit first hand...

That's quite a way away but possible participation...will see what fits in with the few blank weekends left!

Look forward to seeing it and over time seeing races on the different combinations.

After the very poor turnouts in 04 and 05 - when I tried to reinvent Formula Libre - I doubt it. But, if this CSCC Formula Free idea takes off, who knows?

Will there be a "Proper" race control building?
Where will it be sited?

In time yes.
There will be a second pit lane / startline * and a new portakabin RC in the short term.

* after the first lefthander on the International [using the existing start as a point of reference for you]

Another question - will there be toilets dotted around the circuit?

I'd assume tyres to start with, with permenant posts to follow once the permentant positions have been decided?!

Could they not do what Rockingham did?
They nailed some garden sheds to Pallets which meant with the help of a FLT or tractor, the "Posts" could be moved.
At least this provided some shelter from the elements.

'Control from Post three.'

'Go ahead, Post three.'

'We are now Post seven!'

Or:

'Attention all radio users; has anyone seen Post two?'

(Very weak)
'Post two to control; we are now at A55 junction 7.'

Any more updates on how things are progressing? I've tried the official website but nothing seems to change much.

I'm going on holiday to Anglesey in May, so I might call in on the BRSCC meeting whilst I'm there and check-out the new circuit.

Anglesey circuit photos.

I'm new to the forum, and thought all of you may be interested to see some photos taken on 18th March at "ground level". Click on www.wirral100.co.uk/w100newarc.html Note:Shots shown are of coastal circuit.
