As Redshoes has asked before, if you have a problem with the way another forum is operated, please take it up with the relevant person - it is not necessary to discuss it here.
Sorry your topic got hijacked, James! What time does the part start Saturday evening then ? As I said elsewhere, i'm elsewhere for the day and will be arriving in the evening... don't want to miss anything by being late! |

Welcome to 10/10ths Paul and James! I really enjoyed watching the Fiats last year, and nearly ended up joining in - but I'm now driving a Mighty Mini.
Thanks for providing some of the action at Brands, Paul - it'll be nice to meet you both at Oulton |

By the way I did hear those air hornes and I nearly laughed, but I didn't think Tech-Speed would like that.

Well, Clios aren't Tourers but they weren't so slow around Oulton... top tips would be watch out for nutters into the hairpin on the opening couple of laps... watch out for the trackside signs (which have a habit of jumping out on you) and beware Cascades until the rear tyres are hot... if the back end steps out there you are not going to get it back in a hurry.
Else good luck guys, my thoughts will be with you as I trundle my way to Monaco in the dynamic Transit/trailer/racecar combo! Cheers RickP:Clio51 (impressive huh? a whole post without professing undying love for a certain Spice... more control in my posting than my racing clearly...) |

Whoops! Sorry Craig - it seems I missed a cue on this thread - most unlike me! (Not..)
Indeed I did get excited, and ran off to get an interview with Paul's sister. I failed - I guess I missed that cue too.....I was really disappointed, actually - my Mum would have been dead impressed. But Paul has since made up for it - he didn't mind me sticking a mic in the cockpit after the 3 minute board had been displayed at Thruxton - that gets big respect! |

Hello Alan, I must say I was very flattered when you opened my door I felt like a right BTCC driver. Anytime mate, at least you didn't have to walk all the way to the back of the grid.

I stood next to his lovely sister on the pit wall
But speaking to Paul was just as pleasing - not quite as pleasing on the eye, but... I'm in a hole here, aren't I? |

Hehe, I seemed to have missed out on conversation on this thread. Paul, one line sticks out in my head that I shouted at you when finding out where you worked "OOOOH! DISCOUNT!"

The difference is though, John, you only get the discount on a Thursday afternoon, and on production of your bus pass
