Classy move from Harvick there. Grow up.
Ah, actually, the 07 instigated it. But still, my sentiment remains. |

4th caution, this race is not what usually happens at Bristol. 2 grooves?

It looks like Jack Roush was right when he said that his cars were as good or better than the other team's COTs. Here is the link to the complete results.

I thought it was a pretty good race but have seen many better at Bristol. I wish that Kasey could have taken Edwards.

Wasn't bad, just hard to get used to going so long without yellows, but there was TONS more overtaking, it was great!
If I was building the track, instead of having 36deg (was 36deg the whole baking before) at the top and about 25deg or something at the bottom, I would have had 36deg at the bottom and...more at the top I wonder how 45deg would go Carl Edwards rocks, I was hoping he would win, him of Bowyer, but Clint never really got any further up than he was. btw, DW ftw! |

Enjoyable race I thought, not disappointing at all. Sure it was different for Bristol, but still good.
It flew in with the long green runs though, that was the only thing. Nice to see Flipper win it! |

I'm just still sore about what happened with Denny. Drops to 3rd in the points to Stewart. |

New concrete + new banking + new car = a work in progress. First races on any new surface job are always difficult. Though I do agree about Las Vegas. It produced decent racing because it was wide and smooth; with a narrower track and rougher surface, it's just a stage for demolition derbies.

New Vegas is great.
New Bristol sucks. Ok, repave the track. There was no need to give it variable banking! That should only be used fro tracks with crap racing (Vegas and Homestead) |

It doesn't suck. It is certainly a different kind of racing granted.
I do agree that it didn't need touching up, but it's not as if they have ruined it. The racing was good, particularly in the Busch race. Give it a year or two and the CoT will likely be as good to watch too. |
