It seems that Luxury Racing is not happy with the French newspaper l'Equipe: http://www.luxury-racing.com/site/op...ournal-lequipe
Perhaps l'Equipe blamed Luxury for the delay of the Pescarolo 03? |

Apparently Henri explained in l'Equipe that Luxury Racing only paid 10% of what they promised. The reporter of l'Equipe tried to contact Luxury for a reaction, but he was unsuccessful.
Pescarolo is now getting some financial help from Roald Goethe, who is the owner of the AMR-One monocoque that Pescarolo is using. Perhaps this means that the Pescarolo 03 will also get a Gulf livery. However, this might be difficult with Pescarolo long term partnership with Motul. Scans from the l'Equipe article can be found at http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.ph...2973img399.jpg and http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.ph...5218img400.jpg. |

h.p. should be more grateful to luxury managment for the economic support that he is receiving... complaining for this in a newspaper i don't know how much smart is! i won't be surprised if luxury will interrupt their support.

If they only paid 10% of what was agreed upon they've already stopped their support and going public about it won't make it any worse.

Maybe its a ploy by Henri to force Luxury to cough up the other 90%. Could backfire though and he doesnt see any other monies owed to him. Sick of this crap.

Would be interesting to see one of the journos try and delve deeper into this.
We know that Luxury have had changes in their Am line-up with Jakubouski (sp) and Farnbacher out of the door and Jeannette/Montecalvo in. Wonder if someone was unhappy about the situation at Sebring? |

However i disagree with pescarolo attitude this time, a useless and counter-productive rant, reported by a man that has spent the last years to pay a lot of debts because of a bad administration (that in 2011 has been able to run just because of someone else good will). |

So are they still 'partners' with Luxury? I'd assume so otherwise I don't see how they'll go racing.
I find the whole thing strange to be honest unless Luxury are looking to go to LMPs in the long term and want to buy some expertise. |

A socialist lead government has the tendency of making company cut down on non-production cost, like sponsoring, in fear of heavier taxation. A company like Total, is a company which i fear will cut back severely on their Motorsport spending - unfortunately. (This is just an example, i know Pescarolo isn't sponsored by Total) |

Or ACO just grants them a "force majeure" waiver or something to use the old fossilized Pesca 01...

That is never going to happen. The waiver for non-compliant aero was a one time exception (Sebring). Additionally the 01 does not have the correct engine either.

Rules are meant to be broken and modified, it's a FIA championship... hell, we have a "GT1" World Championship that only goes to two continents

There is still the issue of tyres. Michelin stopped development of the smaller front tyres.
