It's a big SZ - lap times >6 minutes.

That's why I'm wondering if that was strategy, an issue, or an issue that coincidentally fit in with strategy/tactics? It could work out for them if they can make the brake's performance and durability last. |

With all of the offs, I do wonder if race control ought to activate a pace car situation to get the track cleaned.

What was the issue overnight with the 709 that lost it a few additional laps? Was taking a few Zzzzs in the tent.

As it stands they could stop and change them and still have a decent lead so it might be a mute point. |

They had a brake issue when Tandy was in - possibly caused by some pick-up. I read somewhere you can do 18 hours on a set so might be okay.

I'm sure it was said #64 had a issue with one of the rear brakes so they change all of them.

Distance comparison
So, comparison to 2020 brought in as record distance is gone.
Latest SZ batch has brought us down to 2020 pace. Which is probably also unlikely to be matched as it was pretty quick too. |

*Stretches* Ooh. Looks like I missed stuff since I came off track at 0400. Back out again at 1200 to the end. *Scurries off to catch up with progress* |
