The thing is it’s a racing car. Today, I was shown round a brand new model recently launched and they pointed out that all the air vents actually did something. I almost whooped with delight that they weren’t just cosmetic. Function first, form second. That’s were real beauty comes from.

I too can’t wait to see it race in Portugal.

Ha, I never said it looked terrible! I care so much precisely because it's a looker and likely to be the only really classy machine in the Hypercar field. Just nit-picking.

How many people took up on the buy clothing get your name on the car deal? I imagine it'll be hard to pick out individual names. I'm sure there's hundreds/thousands of names, but it would be cool to know exactly where to look during the race.

I did, ordered one of the blue sueded crew tees a few days ago - with postage it's more than I'd normally pay for a tee, this isn't a 'normal' tee, and due to Covid lockdowns I haven't been able to go to places and spend money, so thought I'd treat myself

The email list they sent out to those of us who did was pretty long, betting we'll need pretty good pictures to see that actual name on the car but I know it's there

Next week Aragon
3-6/6 Nurburgring
11-13/6 Portimao
8-11/7 Goodwood
16-18/7 Monza
21-22/8 24 h. Le Mans
