But when will he net his first win of the season, at the moment that only looks possible if Seb has a bum race, and that isn't looking particularly likely?
Surely a race will come when he has the upperhand. |

Is there an explanation for his bad starts particularly this season? Can his body weight compared to Sebastian mean a less than ideal weight distribution?
I find it hard to believe that it is simply luck or skill given the number of bad starts he has had this year (and given the guys experience and that he is still putting the thing on pole). |

I have much man love for Mark, but with regards to race starts I keep thimking the following saying " Mark couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat"
Be it at Jag, Williams or RBR, his starts have never been strong. he is not as aggressive as he used to be, perhaps should be. He kniws he has a fast car and can overtake this year ao dowsnt fight for free positions on the first lap like Massa and Hamo do |

Anyway, does the last race count towards Webber or Vettel in this thread? It'll be the first of the year if it is for Vettel. |

Just out of interest, is there anywhere we can get a list of all the drivers lap times? I have been wondering if Vettel slowed at all, believing that Mark was also to slow, thereby actually allowing Mark to close the gap even more?

Would be intersting...from memory watching live timing it was that Webber was on the pace of Alonso but Vettel had struggled the entire last stint, remembering Webber had to clear the slowing Hamilton

I had idly speculated about the speed difference this year, but had been too polite to raise it as a possiblity as that kind of comment would only get Adam & the Ralf twins into a tizzy.

It is the only explanation. |

A throw back to a past era, when men were real men and racing drivers were called Nigel.

I'm 100% sure about the tizzy however, you may need to explain how the "slower car" can set the fastest lap in more GPs than any other car ... hmmm ... sorry, the only disadvantages Mark has are the strategy favours the No 1 in the team and his teammate is the fastest man in the world.

And then when they sign Kobayashi or Di Resta, they'll tell him to **** off. Red Bull wants Mark happy until they sign someone else. I don't know why Mark is worked up about doing due diligence, he’s either lacking pace or ignoring team orders. Plus, it’s not like he’s going to have a better option. Even if Ferrari wanted him, it would be to caddy for Alonso. There’s no room on McLaren or Mercedes who would probably want (and definitely favor) a German driver, anyway. Nobody else seems close to producing a title contending car. |
