I'm just having fun, don't feel chastised! It was nice to go and check on what I remembered, started off a little bit of reading which ended up - don't ask how - looking at pictures of late 60s Porsches.
RTN was Racing Technology Norfolk in the UK. They collapsed at some point in late 08 or early 09, while they were making at least the body of Embassy's WF01, which was a contributor to its delay. They also built Creation's not-so-successful CA-07. |

Can we even call them 'New' R15's? I would guess they are last years 3 races old cars with changes and update made to them.

I do however believe there's a fair chance he'll be headhunted to lead a team, Jaguar, (TWR) Nissan, Toyota and Bentley all used his services as much for his technical ability and experience, as his driving skills. |

Plus being a BBC man (who has been talking Le Mans up on broadcasts as of late), it might be a good idea to get him on board in some capacity in the hope of mainstream coverage.

Just checked if the LMS put up the ticket prices for the Hungaroring 1000km, where I'm trying to plan a trip in the summer, and I've had a peek over the provisional entry list. And what do I find there?
#7 and #8, Audi Sport Team Joest, Audi R15... Of course, I know that it's provisional, but... I thought it would be of interest. Perhaps Audi have sneakily lodged a full-season entry in the LMS, while publically only announcing the LMIC and Ricard+Spa? |

I think Joest realise the importance of racing , and not testing alone .
If Joest had his way , he would be racing im sure . |

Audi did post a full season entry - they were on the original entry list remember - but have already announced the races they intend to take part in

So you'll see that each of the six rounds have exactly the same provisional entry, but we all know some rounds will have much bigger entries than others. |

What did they have to gain by doing that? Why not just enter the races they intend to run? Is it a cost issue? - are they keeping their options open? - are they expecting to win the series running just three races?

one would think that but sometimes people can do/say crazy things if they don't want things to occur, stupid as it sounds crazy people might say now it's a safety thing too??? I hope that the tunnel is fixed asap, I want to go to Spa that's our most favorite circuit.

its more than likely that there will be some kind of safety protest from the NIMBY's unfortunately, its just the way the world works. One could argue back that with all the bad weather that it is a Force Majeure (is that the right spelling?) Either way, Spa will be up and running again, whether it is in time for the LMS remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, im not very optimistic with the time frame of 5-6 weeks, seems like a lot of work will need to be done.
