My bet is a sub 3:27 lap at Le Mans this year.
Are they going to introduce a new front end?!?!? |

The engine was never the problem in that said car That was probably the best thing about it! Now it has a new life inside the CLM and it's fast. Got to say that Rossiter did an amazing job in the car after not running the first two practices!

I wonder what Rebellion could have done with that engine in the R-One. Surely a bit faster than the Bykolles?

Well done Kolles you have done what rebelion could not. I.E stick a new engine into a car and not mis a bunch of races http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117580/ |

I don't think that's much of a consolation when they could never beat Rebellion.

Rebellion finished 3rd and 4th at Spa in 2016, on the podium. ByKolles certainly didn't. I had to Google for the Shanghai result, and the one Rebellion there had serious reliability issues. A Corvette can beat a Toyota P1 car too under those circumstances, but it doesn't really count on beating it does it? ByKolles have never once looked like a challenge to Rebellion. Rebellion may have missed races, but they were always a step ahead and had the advantage of a car that didn't burst into flames at every opportunity.

They beat them, how they did it wasn't the issue. I was making a point that this argument is not really related. BRG only said that at least Kolles got a new engine and didn't miss races by switching. I think that says a lot for them. BRG's example proves his point. They did something Rebellion didn't, good for them!

If that's the only praise that we can give ByKolles then it's almost insulting tbh. That's like giving the kid who finished last in the race a sticker because he tied his shoes better than the others. I was pleasantly surprised that ByKolles suffered no major issues at Spa, but we're clutching at straws for the praise and it shows the different scales they and rebellion were measured against.

Well they are still there, what ever anyone on here says, the cheer they got at Spa from the 60k fans says it all, let us just hope that next year they will still be there and have some competition.

Short onboard camera from Silverstone. The Nissan engine has a distinct grumble to it

interesting feature:
nissan lmp1 engine in the CLM has a 6 speed gearbox (very likely the same used for the old AER, that surely could be the same used since 2013 for the judd lmp2 engine). Nissan gt-r lmp1 had only 5 speeds |

Rossiter officially out for Le Mans, doing a Super GT test. So Bonanomi will take his place https://www.bykolles.com/news/125-by...mans-2017.html!

May as well not. They're alone in class, and will need a new car next year to have a shot at being competitive with new entries coming in.

Ambitious of them to say they want to run 2 cars next year and sell some. I hope they succeed in that.

Is there an official explanation for only running a couple of laps at LeMans, having lots of Japanese technicians around the rear of the car and then closing the door and being the first car to DNF?
The little off at Tertre Rouge in the first lap couldn't have made that much damage... |

The theory RLM had was the the front end damage blocked the cooling vents to the radiators, which cooked the engine. Just a theory though.
