Does anyone have any updates about...anything?! T&S is still dead, and the only news is that the top 5 cars are all within about a second of each other.

Afraid you'll have to wait on that, because ALMS T&S is dead pretty much.
And Audi and Oreca seem to really be making much use of the track time so far--#1 Audi has run over 80 laps, and the #2 Audi and Oreca have run over 70. |

Not to forget in ORECA's case the three drivers need to discover the track

As far as im concerned the HPD should go the distance. HPd knew what they were doing when they built the P2 and strakka drove the wheels off theat thing for 24HOURS!.

does anyone know if Risi is actually running the F430. For the sake of reliability and only for the 12 hours

Session is about over, so I wouldn't worry about that (it seems that it was in the pits for a long time late).
Top 6--within 1.16 seconds, are #8 Pug, #1 Audi, #01 HPD, #10 Oreca, #2 Audi, and the Cytosport Aston. What's really strange is the status of the #7 908. It was shown as only running 4 laps, but what was really strange is that it was never shown in the pits or off the track, and ALMS notes doesn't seem to give a reason for that odd showing. The only mention that they've given is that it was ranked as 14th overall. There's no explanation for that oddity. |

Maybe more proof we can't trust timing and scoring? ALMSnotes new reports that the top 6 overall were within about .65 of a second.
If true, it can't get much closer than that. |

Anyone else get the feeling LMPC and LMP2 should be merged into one class? Also does anyone else have the feeling the Abruzzi Jaguar, and Lamborghini are better suited in GTC?

No on all points. We've run one session so far, far too early to make conclusions about LMPC and LMP2 times. The Abruzzi and Lambo have only one session, completely new cars. Let's see where they are mid-season. The Jaguar hasn't run at all yet. Upon what are you concluding this? |
