Greystone should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I thought that I was ahead of the game and going to be all ready for Brands on the 25th March.

Took the Tomcat to Dave Walker yesterday to get it remapped and found that it has a compression/sealing problems, my suspicion is rings. Hoping that I can get away without a rebore as it has a set of accralite pistons in it.

At least we proved that my homemade twin intercooler setup works (according to Dave it reduces the inlet temp by over 10 degrees C compared with when we tried it with the single intercooler) and that the cold air feed to the air filter also produces extra power.

All part of life's rich tapestry I suppose.

Will be joining the series when I get it done.

Could be my computer.
If you can't find it, it's below the weather and reads BARCse Universal Championship Registration Form. If you got that and can't download it, you may need Acrobat reader installed on your computer. If you have Acrobat, try right clicking the link and "Save as" You should then be able to open it from your PC.

Thanks Steve.

Doesn't make any odds because it doesn't look like I'm going to be there now anyway.

As Blackadder said b*gg*r.

I believe it is a challenge not a championship, so results are for individual rounds only.

Greystone , as you know, I may be being a bit greedy this year, and have registered 2 cars for the tin tops. Assuming the Asthma is ready for 24 th march ( Nice parcel from QED turned up yesterday ). If car B is ready before yours, I'm more than happy to return the favour of borrowing your car whena rod went awol on mine at Lydden last year!

March 24th is a BARC south east race for sports/saloons and tin tops, similar to last years "open race". Yes "nyssa 7" you are welcome to join in.

Cheers Rod, I'll look out the regs and entry form. Enjoyed last year's event and could use a decent pre-season run out again

Don't think that Steve...just get stuck in, I'm sure you'll be fine!

Yes for those that don't know Regs and forms were sent out at the weekend, they are also available on the south eastern centre pages of the BARC website.

Best of luck Steve, you'll be fine. Wish I was going, the Honda is still in bits at the moment...

Oh well, have to stick to North Weald in the road car for now!

I've had yours, your first on my list. Lydden entries are starting to come in already, you can always send them all in but with cheques dates 3 or 4 weeks before the meeting.

It is easier to take people out at the last minute than add them in!

Hopefully some more "tin tops" will join in. The benefits are: two races at each meeting, some for as little as £135. No registration fee. Classes are based on whether you choose list 1A or 1B tyres then engine capacity. All the entry forms are now available on the barc.net website then go to regional centres, south east. You do have to fill in a registration form to get a non-clashing number for the year.

Come on people more entries required for the 24th. The Tintops will never be as popular as the DTR but it needs more support

Unlikely I'll make 24th - engine not back in car yet, and only got through medical today for licence - but hope to be out for first Lydden. If it's touch and go may be DTRC or Tin Tops depends on where there are any spaces !
