They could be in for an interesting afternoon!
Same times as previously but others slow! Probably something to do with Irish backstop |

Seems it’s an interesting car to drive.
Think you have to take it on having very little imagination. |

From the live feed the weather looks better there at Goodwood than here in not so sunny Spain. Thunder and Lightning here earlier. Then 5 mins sunshine and now just miserable and grey with showers.

Absolutely gorgeous weather today. Combined with drive through the South Downs this morning it serves as a very effective reminder of the what I miss living away from the UK. A cloud or two wouldn’t go amiss though - a bit much too be stood around in all day.

It’s the fully fitted race suit that really sets it off!
Seeing is believing! |

Same here mate, roads flooded, entertainment cancelled, bars shut with sewerage coming back up the toilets and sinks, sea brown with the dirt and sand washed into it. Brilliant

And this was the picture about half way between the two of you on the Orihuela Costa, on the AP7 motorway about 15-20 miles south of Alicante airport. |

Cracking day at Goodwood. Very warm sunshine from mid morning till sunset.
Some lovely cars being driven hard and the evening race was entertaining. Impressed with the "foam" barriers in front of the armco on the exit of Madgwick, 3 cars went in and managed to drive off without troubling the marshals. The Jag that hit big style ended on it's side but there seemed to be little damage given the speed it hit, driver climbed out unassisted and the marshals sorted out the barriers in minutes. The sight of Sam Hancock drifting the 246S through Madgwick had the crowd grinning ear to ear Took far too many photos again |

Day 1 report - super weather and fabulous light for the Kinrara at Kinrara. Good to catch up briefly with delta.
Looking forward to a good days racing - will be taking photos around the circuit. Glad to hear a bit less "most expensive grid in the world" for the Kinrara. Somewhat "bemused" that a pole sitting car again failed scrutineering leaving a multiple Le Mans winner to start from the back ... |

Our FIA French scrutineer for F3 cup is here and spending a fair amount of time checking cars and paperwork . I have found everyone very frendly this year apart from paddock Marshall’s . I took the Cooper Maz down to assembly area like I have done with cars for the past 20 years . Got told very firmly that I had gone through the wrong gate . Then I got told I can’t ride my £20.00 period push bike. Grrrrrrrr

Good to see so many tenthers going well.
Watching a great scrap between Robert Barrie of this parish and Nick Swift on live streaming. |

They were a bit more proactive the other day unlike 7 years ago, they sandbagged the road between Vera Playa and Villaricos to divert the water into the sea. Back then we had loads of cars washed onto the beach and helicopters rescuing people from their rooftops. As we are "old-timers" from the early 70s we knew where the flood plains were and bough a place a lot higher up and watched all the new developments being built on them ! |

So grumpy won .
Not bad for a knackered late middle aged balding bloke. Hope he gets to Red Lion before he starts on the celebrity booze! About time! |
