You know, the more I look at that....JV should have saved that.

That could be the last we see of him this season and possibly ever. Although if he does go the next rounds, he probably has a chance to qualify at one or two of them.

But if he doesn't get into the top 35 in points after Bristol (which he probably won't now) his NASCAR aspirations are screwed.

The tactics are a bit more aggressive in this because it is a qualifying race.

But yeah, you get teammates helping each other a lot. Particularly on plate tracks like this one, where you can push each other along and gain lap speed.

Come Sunday though don't count on a teammate when it comes down to the wire.

Carpentier, I thought showed some potential.

The race Sunday should be a wingdinger, aren't all the Daytona 500's.

For some reason none of the video clips play for me on NASCAR.com - do they play for anyone else? Just wondering whether it is an outside-US thing - they played fine in 2007.

I have the same problem with the video clips. Last year I had no problems.
