Webber is no slow paddler, but you need to be more than that to be good in a LMP1 at Le Mans. Webber sure has something.

i agree - boring, emotionless commentary on a paid subscription service, hard to compete with Hindy and company

He's just taken the lead because Audi #9 pitted but it will be interesting to see how long it will take for Albuquerque to catch Webber, considering Webber's slow pace and the Audi's quicker pace.

They casually forgot to mention that 22-23s were the ideal laps with a GTE car in every braking zone...

Certainly looks to me like Audi 7&9 are now effectively first and second when you take pitstops into account. I've been away for a bit, but that's a definite change since a couple of hours ago when Porsche seemed to be ahead.

the audis seem to have reduced the speeds just a little bit now. top speeds too are somewhat slower than before. but they're still noticeably quicker than porsche.

A few years ago Rebellion would have been really happy about those lap times, but the front of the field has moved on. 1st race with the AER powerplant, they will find more time in the next few races. Ive always been a fan of Rebellion since before they used the Rebellion name and always will be a fan. The new livery is very attractive but too close to Porsche.

I will always cheer for Bart and the team for the massive effort and spirit they show!!!!

Nope, 17 is ahead. Right now 7 pits first followed by 9 a couple laps later followed by 17 who can further every stint.

Audi #7 is 4.554 seconds behind Webber and Audi #9 is now 9.530 seconds behind Webber.

And in the short period of time since my last post (minutes ago), Webber has managed to squander his entire lead over the next car. I'm really hoping for the sake of Porsche's plan to win, that they limit the amount of time he's behind the wheel this year. At least at Le Mans, he just is horrid at the top levels (under race conditions).

Okay, that's significant. Treluyer just overtook Webber on acceleration into the Dunlop chicane. Are Porsche having to turn their hybrid system down?
