Dunlop Corner should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Elgaard and Nielsen are certainly better than Merksteijn and probably on pace with Bleekemolen. They have not quite matched Verstappen so far, but Maasen should be able to do that. It will be down to tires i think, the Dunlops have not quite been able to take on the Michelins.

I am sure Verstappen will take pole, but the race will be very tight. I don't think it will be won on pace, but on which Porsche has the most trouble free run. And of course should they get a sudden terminal failure like one of the Penske's got at Sebring, the class is wide open.

According to end-onfo ..... Audi & Lambo have been out testing on the Bugatti circuit .

http://www.endurance-info.com/2008_L...t/Mardi_01.jpg

Just noticed that the Lambo are running with some sort of fwd wheel cooling disc , I didnt notice this before .

I thought there was something that said the ACO didnt allow Porsche LMP2 to run with these discs , or is that only in LMP class ?

Not 100% but that looks like the actual wheel design rather than a seperate disc, look like classic OZ from the 90's WRC era.

exactly my thoughts, looks the same as the wheels they used on the escort WRC 97 and 98 cars, wonder why their running those different wheels, maybe lambo are having an issue with front brakes or wheels?

Driver Questions

Jean-François Yvon?

Has Gunnar Jeannette really replaced Paul Thomas for TEAM BRUICHLADDICH RADICAL ?

What about Yutaka Yamagishi? He was set to race the SR9.

http://www.americanlemans.com/News/Article.aspx?ID=4315

Yojiro Terada's 29th Le Mans?

Will the 76th 24 Hours of Le Mans be Yojiro's 29th Le Mans?

From ACO press release:

24 Reasons to be there

#18. The Samurai are back to do battle

The Japanese are coming back to Le Mans in force: Dome with a closed prototype, the Kruse Schiller team’s Lola-Mazda and the Tokai University in Tokyo, which has entered a Courage powered by the Japanese YGK engine. But the star of the Samurai will be 61-year-old veteran Yojiro Terada in his Courage-Mugen. He will be both the oldest of the Le Mans drivers currently racing as well as the record-holder of participations (29). Respect!

Wasn't Paul Thomas (team director or something at Radical) just a comedy entry for test day to get some laps in for his own amusement, and was never going to be a serious race seat contender?

You guys have to learn to believe me occasionally......

Paul Thomas was only ever going to be driving at the Test Day. Hindy & Trussers mentioned that in the commentary.

Jean-Francois Yvon, as far as I know, did not drive the Lola on Sunday, so Allan Simonsen replaces him, since he does not have to do the rookie test after running with Autorlando last year.

Or probably 3.

As for the Epsilon- gimme one good reason why they deserve two entries anyway?! Of course they shouldn't be allowed in, especially not now.

Correct.
But a second Epsilon with Johansson at the wheel would certainly add more to the race than that awful Saulnier P1. We already have 3 Pescas, why do we need a 4th who don't stand a chance.
