Although I have changed a few things ( Carbon clutch etc ) but it is pretty much the same as it was when it last graced a circuit.

Yes we want to see that out please. I think Classic Thunder is shaping up to be a very nice championship, it was a lot better this season and I recon there is more to come.

I'll tell him that! Sounds like your car is shaping up well for next year from what I've heard.

I'm building a DMN class A car where the bodyshell rules are a bit more lenient than CT, but at this stage it's not a problem to add a few changes if it makes it eligible for your series as well. When I get some time maybe I will PM you some details of what I've done?

With non standard engine configuration (ie V8 where a 4 pot was) now eligible for Classic Thunder, most old Thunder Saloons should now be eligible for the championship.

Rob, are you going to bring out Harry?

What about the silhouette rules? There be a rather large bonnet bulge on Harry.

It might be tempting, though I'm pretty well committed to doing AMOC Enduro (or whatever they finally call it).

Do you have draft regs for 2010 - and a draft calendar?

I've had a read of the 2009 regs, and Harry's wing would fail. It's full width of the car as near as makes no odds, rather than width of the "original" car.

Things like holes in sump bolts, etc..., don't apply IMHO - it'll be in A2, which is pretty well unlimited, and providing I'm a good boy and tell the truth about how big it is, which will define it's minimum weight.

The dates have a few clashes with AMOC stuff, Cadwell as an opener will be chilly, but it's not a boys circuit, so it's tempting to come along and release the horses around there. I had a hoot there last year with the ASCAR, so Harry should be even more manic! Perhaps all wheels off the floor over the mountain!!

Let's see what the new year brings.....

Rob dont worry about holes in sump bolts on a V engined car, its of no consequense. There are new regs in the offering so hang on and see what transpires regards the spoiler as I know a couple of other drivers fell foul of that one last year and may have put in a request.

According to AMOC, their meeting at Brands takes place on 26th June. Whether the series I'll be running in is part of that meeting, I don't know yet. It probably will be.

Rob, we are at Brands as well with a very packed grid as well, lets see you go head to head with the V8 Sierra etc.

There are only so many hours in the day, and I don't have a lot of those available to work on the car, so that's why I chose AMOC and what was Super GT. Next year it'll be called something like "Enduro", and it'll incorporate something else.

I may well just cherry-pick what I want and can do with it next year.

It's possible that all I get to do is go testing a few times, in effort to get the ruddy thing to be reliable and generally work properly.

I still have the Pontiac to play with too...
