Brands is a no go, noise issues for a 1000K race unless you want to race on the Indy track!!!!

I'd like to see Jarama for the Spanish race, they can attract a decent crowd.

I'm not sure about Germay, I'd only consider staying at the Nurburgring if Audi or Porsche commited to the series and helped to promote the race.

Maybe it's time to take a race to Brno, Holland, or Scandinavia?

They used to run the 1000km races there in the Gp C days, so what happened? Who turned the noise regs down? Why? Its one of the best curcuits in this country and will always have a special place in prototype racings memories!

Forget Holland (noise issues).

Brno is maybe a good choice. If I remember wel Charouz is leading a marketing company, maybe they are able to attract a decent crowd?

Suzuka would be cool and would also give a chance for the JLMS cars that actually meet ACO spec a chance to race against the LMS cars.

Another track that I would like to see these cars on is The Mount (Mount Panorama in Bathurst).

Charouz Racing Systems the factory Lola?

Is it System or Systems?

I just hope Spa stays on the schedule.

Hmm, the fact they wrote that article themselves suggests its "spin".

Oh and Systems would suggest they are a company offering services to others. System suggests they have found their winning formula and you can't have it. A quick Google says System.

But how many will make the trip to the UK? If past years are anything to go by about half that number if we are lucky!

But Assen only has 34 pit stalls, that would be cutting the field down quite a bit.

No, you cant use that argumentation. MotoGP is a very special event for the people with a caravan at the back of the car
Dutch Supercar isnt driving in Zandvoort anymore due to noise regulations but they are still driving in Assen (Rizla Racing Days, Champcar event, and an own DSC event this year)
Pit Stalls? Come on, real racers use a tent ...

Champcar is allowed because they decreased the support package of World Superbikes.

Mostly all outdoor hardstyle/techno parties create more noise.... And the netherlands are the home of party from my point of view. Its really worth to drive one hour to the border at the weekend

Anyway, I have to say that being in the pitlane and hearing the Peugeot setting off after a pitstop is much more comfortable to the ears than say a Porsche 997 or an Aston Martin...

Maybe so but I dont go to a race track to have to have comfortable ears - I go for the sight, sound and smells of real racing cars.

I think they should come to Mount Panorama, Bathurst, Australia. David Brabham and Allan Simonsen are well known down under and the Australian GT Championship is as strong as it has been for a long time so GT Racing is getting a bigger following and it is a spectacular circuit.

I am saying I prefer the sights and sounds of a screaming V12 or V8 petrol engine that the whisper quiet sounds of the Diesels.

Other people are of course wlecome to their own opinion.

I can understand your point about the sounds, but that a petrol engine looks nicer is rather debatable...
