My expectations were extremely low, but the enclosure genuinely looks better for spectators, although the bank does appear to be rather narrower than it was in parts...? The bridge over the tunnel entrance will certainly help the flow, no more running the gauntlet between the entrance and the tunnel. All good. Thank you very much, Eric! 🍻

The work at Mulsanne Corner is (apparently) complete (courtesy of EI). Looking forward to seeing the 'new' view from the roundabout end of the enclosure!

The main entrance should help with the carnage of trying to pass through the that place wihout getting killed by the Audi shuttle drivers

No, that version of the track dates from 2018, I believe.... They could never have included the changes in an update that quickly.

They should have used the pre-chicanes version of the track for the virtual race, as there's no need to worry about safety.
See how fast modern cars could wind themselves up to. |

Not sure it would have been as virtual driving at top speed for several minutes is not exactly good to watch

With a view of the track it'll probably be jammed most of the time.....

Well suspect that gravel will be heavily used during the race.

Maybe a return to carrying a shovel in the car to dig it out!

Not a layout change but the first chicane on the Mulsanne is to be renamed the Daytona chicane, with the Daytona bus stop renamed Le Mans chicane.

Cool.
About time they renamed Indianapolis turn 3 Le Mans in return. Turn 4 could be Foyt, turn 2 Luyendyk and turn 1 Michelin. |

I think they've picked good names there, although just a shame it's chicanes they are naming and not proper corners
