Simple - Bernie still doesn't want a British GP! Especially where the BRDC is involved.

but on a more serious note. Just been watching Superbikes at Portimao in Portugal - that is an awfully wide, fast, interesting looking track. Looks just right for an F1 event.

Does anyone know who the organising club was for the Mini United @ Silverstone on 23/24th May. I had instructions sent to me from BARC but i've got a feeling it was then handed over to another club. Any ideas?

I think so too. Just checked BARC calender but they updated long ago only dates for Oct/Nov on there now.

for me yes it does

my mrs has a lung disease as well as other health problems.

although i can do a days marshalling, i cannot go away for any number of days.

if i did silverstone i would have to travel there/back each day which is not very practical as it takes approx 1 1/2 hour one way,(traffic pending)

if it was at donington then it will be fine to do the journey there/back as im only 20 mins on my ped.

dont do it for the fun of it, do it coz you want to do it,
coz someone who is more commited to wanting to doing it might lose the chance

Stig always slags off the GP whenever there is an opportunity to, he's never actually done one of course, but never let that stop someone slagging something off
