For all the things that can be said about their cars/drivers, Audi are the masters of preparation. It's won them more than one Le Mans in recent years, and I wouldn't begrudge them the victory if their meticulous preparation helps them to win this race.

I'm pretty sure there's noise issues as well, I doubt they'll be allowed to run for almost an additional hour into the night.

In answer to the question as to why the Race Director did not take the opportunity to utilise the new ‘slow zone’ regulations to neutralise the session in the accident zone late in qualifying after the accident that befell the now withdrawn #99 AMR Craft Bamboo Vantage the clear response was: “The car was sitting across the track in a very narrow part of the circuit and we already had a recovery underway with a car elsewhere on the circuit. We knew there was a long section of barrier repair needed and that required a large number of service vehicles – Realistically a red flag was the only sensible decision.”

It's the same as each year: The cameras on the non-permanent parts of the track are only active during the warmup + race, minus the night hours.

The other times we only get the parts from entrance to Porsche curves to the exit of Tertre Rouge.
