Sebastien Loeb racing out of WTCR off the back of VW not updating their car for 2020.
https://www.touringcartimes.com/2020...irm-wtcr-exit/ Really not good news for the "all conquering" TCR category. Unfortunately as effectively the foundation manufacturer for TCR, losing VAG is a pretty big blow and it may trigger other people re-assessing their involvement, and this electric motorsport is splintering categories worldwide. Some strong drivers in their lineup and I enjoyed watching them. |

They Havent lost VAG Completely, SEAT are still in TCR and introducing a new car for 2020. TBH it never really made much since having 3 brands from the same group having works entries in the same series. |

Seat's presence without VW and Audi will be diminished and I would suggest can't continue beyond 2020. |

Mr O'Keefe to drive the TCR Megane for the boss.
Nathan Morcom to drive the family I30N - but who will the other driver be? Chaz or Will? |

Mr McAdam owns that car outright, and if memory serves me correct, he's running it on his own.
MPC imported a handful of Audis for NZ, but that series has since stalled. |

I hope more cars turn up at Albert park than what appeared at the test day. No MPC cars ran at the test.

Ingall was prominent on the Sunrise launch of Channel 7’s coverage of the class this year. A sign he might be part of the TV coverage rather than racing? |

Bargwanna to be backed by Bursons:
https://autoaction.com.au/2020/03/04...0juz24inzghrjg ARG "switches" strategy: https://autoaction.com.au/2020/03/04...s-tcr-strategy They have admitted bringing in the 4 Turkeys, 3 VAGs. Cars "leased, sold or disposed of". Sounds like the Subarus got taken out the back and shot. No mention of paying for people to run Hondas and Hyundais however.... So no more overseas stars and no more MPC. |

Shame not to see the Astras out as they were quite competitive towards the end. I personally was interested in the development of the Subarus. Shame the Kelly gang didn't keep them instead of the Astras. Maybe Ford would be okay with them instead of 'holdens'. Last edited by gravin; 4 Mar 2020 at 02:40. |

So both cars Mr Bright supposedly owned have been split up.
The car Ms Whitley drove last year is still with MPC. |

So other than Honda and HMO we had exhibition races?
I worry at them suddenly pulling the plug but I guess They have to make S5000 look good now. |
