I predict now that the Winton round will revert to the old rules no matter what happens politically on that front.

Ned, that is.

Not Rick and Todd.

I'm assuming the Race Director will be the same fella at all the other rounds so don't hold your breath waiting for a blue flag or forewarning yellow flag.

Although we did get permission to wave a blue flag at Sandown.......For the Steward's Inspection in the morning.

Ahhh, you miss understand how race meetings work MPA.

The Series Race Director is able to advise the local Clerk of Course only and has no real power so if the local CoC so chooses the old rules will apply just like I believe they did at the Fujitsu round at Wakefield earlier this year.

The other thing to remember is that it is the local CoC & Flaggie on the corner who will have to stand before the Coroner not the Race Director or other series officials if it all goes very wrong.

Ahhh, PVDA are you saying that once we loose sight of the penguins and cross the Great Divide there's a local CoC that will tell Tim who's the boss?
