Well I really enjoyed yesterday, there were a lot of snappers there yes all round the track.
And some press, and most funnily those special people who go to race meetings and wear their "uniform" Y'know the type, beiege everything, sunhat that makes them look like Mr Del Monte, stupid singlasses!! Was hilarious, so many of them! And lots of pretty people and utterly hilarious autograph hunters! Standing in pods waiting for the sneak peek of Olivier Panis or someone else! Genius Track action was mega, CER cars not only lok nice but most of them were being driven hard aswell, a bonus after watching many of these GT races at CLassic etc and being bored coz three guys are pushing everyone isnt!. LMP stuff was superb aswell, cars are insanely fast and again nice to see so many guys pushing on and going for it. Had a lovely wander about, not pestered anywhere, even had a poke about in the pits, lovely ice cream and then went. All for bugger all too, fantastic. Thanks Silverstone (I would normally be the last person to say that after numerous WRC and F! hell days!) |

great! Eurosport will not be airing the end of the race live...
Tennis instead... Does anyone know if the player has the livestream? |

Didn't notice the LAA Corvette on the timing charts for Practice 1 or 2 but they showed up for Practice 3 and they did qualify last in GT1. This must be a tough time for them and they really didn't need to be there as they have already locked up the Championship. Good that they would show and make an appearance. Good luck to them for tomorrow.

The corvette had a power steering problem on Friday and were waiting for parts to fix the problem hence why it only did 1 lap on the Friday.

Everyone should listen in to the Classic Endurance Racing on Radio Le Mans right now! I've got the speakers cranked, it's going to be a great morning.

Hi there,
Had a great day at Silverstone yesterday for the free practice sessions of the LMS. I am back at the circuit tomorrow for the main event, and for the first time in a few years I am going to spend most of the time sitting watching the race rather than photographing it. My pics from Friday are here: - http://www.dunlopix.com/LMS%20Silverstone%202009.html Loads more to come over the next few days. Here's my favourite so far: - Regards Tim |

Speedy was leading both P1 and P2 there for a few minutes. Would be nice to see them get podiums in both.

Indeed, with Mansell now in the car in front of them and a gap of 30s, it might be a P2 again. Fingers crossed.
Seemed the Kolles Audi's had tire problems, cause they were doing very poor laptimes before their last pit stop. Now back to normal. EDIT: P2 for Tom in the Spyker. Last edited by Taxi645; 13 Sep 2009 at 15:42. |

Rules are the same for everybody, but I hate to see races decided by bodywork infractions that lead to no real performance advantages.

Wow, I obviously can't see, but this Signature Plus Car is apparently a dangerous team to say the least.
