OK I think I've got everyone from 10ths, those who I do not think are 10ths are NA. Shout at me if I have it wrong. BALLI? Baz? Club100? Matt_Sanders? Just a note that Race One points differ slightly as TJR was not know to be a 10ths member at the time of final standings. You can find RACE THREE by clicking on it Spot any errors let me know. Remember to add me as a friend. It helps with seeing more of the times. |

that's me I spent an hour in the middle in the night in order to beat youu times. I was also annoyed as I realised about that competition after the first round, so couldn't set a time. Cougar, My problem is that I usually work on Saturdays so Friday's evening is the latest chance for me to play. Any chance for changing the dead line for Fri midnight or Sat 5pm? What is your and others view on that? With regard to new track - it's a great fun - something different this time - good |

tbh yes saturday 5pm will suit me better also Dont like early mornings :P
Although it is bound to clash with someone else... But you do have a full week to set a good time... Does it really matter if you spend 1hr in the middle of the night on friday or midday on tuesday? For now the deadline for Race Three is 5pm Saturday. |

Its Nascar track after all.. use the banking on the outside
Only Joking.. Anyone still finding the game slows down at times.. If you are not using flashblock for firefox... then put your browser in windowed mode and resize it so that you only see the track in the window. This way the browser does not have to render the flash adverts which lags the game up! |

I knew I shouldn't have got involved ! this is going to drive me bonkers. Just shaved 4 secs off best time with a 1.15 but can't get anywhere near the podium 1.10 ...... Has Cougar got an upgraded chasis ? 1.07 HOW ????

I'm gradually shaving tenths off of my race time, but I'm always averaging just under 4.0s per lap. I'm at a loss as to how I'll get anywhere near Cougar's average of 3.35s! My best is a 3.1, but I've got no idea how I did it!
What lines are you guys using? I've tried it all, going in deep/exiting wide and going in wide/exiting tight to the inside kerb. It all seems to give pretty much the same times. Has anyone got any tips? |

Cut both grass in field. Thats what i do go in really deep but not to deep to or u will have to redo the lap. I cant get any faster on a different line.

My FL was done when someone hit me form behing I guess. I have no idea what line Cougar takes, but I am going to find out. In my opinion tryning to find the best shortcut, best line ('know how') is all about in this game so I don't really want and expect Cougar to tell us. Last edited by koper; 27 Jul 2008 at 16:02. |

I think the secret to Cougar's time is consistency.
Take 19 laps times 3 secs = 57 sec Plus around 5 secs for the first lap = 1:02 and that is still 5 secs faster than Cougars 1:07 So Cougar gave us a clue already: Quote:

Yes, my best i think is 2.999 or something, like with the old track the first complex and the second cutting the grass just like almost takes seconds of but it is fustrating when you get that blue arrow.
I dont get what you mean about that clue Cougar gave us. |

LOL yes I played quite a bit last night.. The key is to not hit the red curbs in the corners... but also not be on the track when you are missing them If the track is an oval from North to south... you need to be driving in an oval that is east to west (if that makes sense) This results in many many many shortcut penalties. So you need to race many times to get a perfect lap with none (well I had to anyways). I nearly beat Koper when doing 21 laps (having to go around once) But then after so many tries I did a pretty consistant lap and got the 1:07. I think a 1:04 or 1:05 might be the winning time
My best 1st lap so far has been 4.5 secs.. What I do is a delay my start slightly in order to cut inside the pack in turn one.. and I am leading by the end of the 1st lap. Its a bit silly that the track is driven like this really.. If you were eagle eyed you will see that I made ome comments on the main page asking for a track sections with walls This would force on track racing and be better suited to the tight sections such as this. |
