If I may be serious for a moment...

An anonymous Reynard driver has persuaded Motorsport Ireland to implement a new regulation for the coming Formula Libre season. At half-distance in the race, a yellow flag and teapot-board will be displayed at start/finish line, and will subsequently be displayed at marshals posts around the circuit.

Within two laps, each driver must make a compulsory pit stop for a freshly brewed cuppa. Competitors must note that this stop is strictly for drivers only, and no changes may be made to the car at this stage.

Thank you.

Well I never!

Dan Daly is a closet tea addict?

What is the world coming to?

Great board but is it really necessary? Just get everybody on the bank to adopt the pose (unless Burnsie and Miss Pebbles are on your post, in which case they'll be doing it already).

I'm sure there's a precedent here. There was a time when snatching at Silverstone was covered by a waved white and double waved yellows, which I always described as the 'milk and two sugars' signal.

I'm sure you'll find a way round it! It's no coincidence that you've got a job which involves you being around the Control Tower and Med Centre this Sunday, and surprise surprise there are kettles there! Feel free to bring refills to the starter, the poor fella will have his work cut out and won't have time to leave his position to make a brew...

There you are then Mr Dunne, just stop on the track and a snatch vehicle will deliver your tea to you

Sorry mate but I've not met him or EP, despite having marshalled at Mondello Park (the day Ronan Keating was racing).

I was brought up not to pick on strangers (or people I know actually, but I struggle with that bit).
