4 into 3 dont go @ HCM
H C MOTORSPORTS HCM today had to make some tuff calls today to let some of there drivers know that they won't be needed for the rest of the season. With the Globel Credit Crunch kicking in HCM has had to down size its operations and have just named 3 cars at next weekends meeting and also with that comes a new line up, Gone are Jack Perkins, Tim Slade and Jason Bright and the #444 car sold to Rick Kelly to help him reach the front this year and Joining Coulthard is Dumbrell and Caruso, We hope that this is a turn around for us and sees us back up the pointy end. #111 - F. Coulthard - $800,000 #222 - P. Dumbrell - $600,000 #333 - M. Caruso - $600,000 |

Jose Motorsport would like to announce its final driver changes for season 2009 after relaising that having 3 drivers is just not logical, and it hinders our chances at winning the championship considerably
so Out of Jose Motorsport is #111 Fabian Coulthard ($800,000) and in is #34 Michael Caruso ($600,000) #23 Jack Perkins ($200,000) So Jose Motorsport Driver lineup for the remainder of season 2009 is #23 Jack Perkins ($200,000) #24 David Renoylds ($200,000) #33 Lee Holdsworth ($1,000,000) #34 Michael Caruso ($600,000) Hopefully this driver lineup can push us up the ladder to P1! |

CAN THEY MAKE IT A 3 IN A ROW
HCM GOES FOR 3 IN A ROW
Defending 500 champions H C Motorsport in ready to have a crack at yet another 500 enduro, after winnig the last two 500klm races the team is gunning for their thrid straight victory in a row, there have been alot of talk at the factory on who Hayden will hire to challenge for the 3 consecutive titles, we are hoping that this combination will also be able to handle the mountain, something that HCM have struggled with is picking drivers that can race more than 500klm, so after a look at past form and who might be on the money this year the powers that be here at HCM have agreed on the following line up. #111 - Steve Johnson / Jack Perkins (1,200,000 combined) #333 - Michael Patrizi / Craig Baird (800,000 combined) The team will revert back to regular line up after the enduro's but are hoping for a good outing to get them back into the championship hunt. |

L&P World Famous Racing's choice-as gold and brown Holden Commodores will be under new management for the enduros, as the team have brought out the old guns for the Island and the Mountain. In time-honoured tradition, we have also cross entered all our drivers, so it'll be about 2 hours in before we decide on final driver combos

Hissy fits and last minute changes ar Brendon Engineering Motorsport!!! Motorsport Fiction can exclusivly reveal that Paul Dumbrell & David Besnard have walked out on Brendon Engineering Motorsport on the eve of the L&H 500 at Philip Island. We believe the split occurred late last night after both driver's met with team Owner/Manager Brendon. We hear that both driver's have got drive's lined up at Toll Holden Racing Team for Dumbrell and Garry Rogers Motorsport for Besnard. "No comment" was Brendon's reply when Motorsport Fiction asked Brendon this morning about the reason behind the split, Both driver's offered the same answer. The team moved quickly to secure replacements for the departing duo in Cameron McConville and Craig Baird. Brendon was more forthcoming when asked about his late signings "yes thats right we signed them (McConvile & Baird). "Cam has had a solid year and he always goes well in the enduro's and i would like to thank Brad, Kim and the BJR team for letting Cam jump ship for these races at late notice. Brendon was also praising Kiwi enduro specialist Baird "Bairdo has proven himself in this form of racing so many times so i'm pleased to have him on board". "This is a great oppertunity for me and i must thank BJR for letting me come over". said Cameron McConville. Craig Bairds phone went to message bank when Motorsport fiction tried to contact him. Motorsport Fiction also quizzed Brendon on the effects these late changes will have on the teams chances of winning the L&H 500 "It's not ideal mate but we are a professional outfit with professional driver's, we'll move forward this weekend and give it a red hot go". Brendon Engineering Motorsport and the rest of the Ten Tenths V8 Supercar Fantasy Championship will be ontrack tomorrow when practice for the L&H 500 kicks off the season of endurance. New driver line-up: #8 - Cameron McConville ($600,000)/Michael Caruso ($600,000) - VE Commodore #18 - Warren Luff ($400,000)/Craig Baird ($400,000) - VE Commodore |
