Pink Elephant have a car park that is just before terminal 4 as you approach from the M25, it only takes 3-4 minutes transfer time and the courtesy buses are constantly running.

Well unless I make it as a reserve it looks like AD's loss will be Brands gain! To all those that are going I hope you all have fun and stay safe.

As a side issue, why are BARC struggling to find a permanent marshals contact all of a sudden? Surely we're not that scary?

Looking at some of the comments in this thread, I wouldn't want the job.

so, doing a little planning for the trip. Not sure yet how to get to Heathrow (whatever time it turns out to be) - maybe drive up and get some parking, so anyone from Eastleigh/Southampton area going who would want to share fuel/parking costs? I got three spaces in a Land Rover I could fill up (the fourth seat is broken, so unusable at present)

If we can sort something now, we can let BARC know and try to make sure travel arrangements are the same.

Drop me a PM, or we can hijack this thread for a bit... (as long as the mods don;t spot it)

I'd wait for the flight details first as the return flights to Heathrow after the Aussie V8 meeting were spread over two days and 7 flights.

Ah, that is a good point. Although I did think that I could maybe contact Ian to put a group of us together if we arranged to travel together.

I've planned to take the car and provisionally got the empty seats booked up, one of the others was e mailing ian to try n arrange flights together.

even tho the flights were a bit random on the V8's, when we done the GP2 asia meeting, everything was fine.
i know on the V8's an agency was used and a few managed to change flights, you never know, lessons learnt and all that...

been a busy few weeks gone by and a few busy weeks ahead, so looking forward to getting out to seeing all the guyz & gals again and seeing some good racing.

Abu Dhabi FIA GT1 is 2x1-hr race. You're a bit late for the Dubai 24-hr race which was in January, unless of course, you have your name down early for next year
