Got a problem with Liz, raise it with her, dont speak ill of people behind their back..., but of course your not going to contact her are you?
Well perhaps if Liz has a problem with the Robertson effort, she should contact them herself instead of implanting millions of television viewers with it.

She is an athlete performing on the public stage, in a spectator sport. All spectator sports, including auto racing will have people commentate on the participants abilities, or lack there of. Their good moves, and bad moves. If people aren't prepared to be commentated on, they shouldn't be in the public eye performing.

The Robertsons on whether they will return to Le Mans in 2012:

Quote:
"I would say the dream is to return in 2012," David says. "Plans involve looking for ways to get more funding. Le Mans was a real confidence booster but, maybe more importantly, it's a marketing tool in our search for sponsorship so maybe we can get the resources to do quite a few more things.

"If we're there [Le Mans] in 2012 we will be one of two things. We will either be a team with considerably more sponsorship or we will be partnered with somebody -- a car company or somebody -- that can provide enough resources to us, with us providing some expertise to them in terms of production cars that could be more relevant to [the] racing world. We have a lot to offer."

All the best to them it will be interesting to see what their next step is. Was great to see the Ford GT there this year. I'd say they can offer everything but competitive lap times.

Indeed, but while I can understand Andrea's and her husband's pace I was expecting a bit more from David Murry, he's certainly no slouch. I trust he did their fastest lap in quali?

Lazzaro is faster than Murry in the car. Anthony put the time in yesterday's session.

All the best to them as well. I love seeing the Ford GT in the ALMS. But if they decide to go another route, then I totally understand. Sadly, it feels like I am starting to see less & less Ford Gt's racing...

I decided to read the Robertson Racing post-Mosport press release just a minute. I don't know why I did that, these things are usually full of nothing. This one is a bit interesting though:

Quote:
Andrew ‘H’ Smith, Team Manager: “All in all we’ve had a reasonable day. It’s just that following such a strong result last time out, as well as what happened at Le Mans, it’s perhaps easy to get carried away. But we’re still heading in the right direction. We will go back to the workshop and see what improvements can be made in time for Mid-Ohio.”

Before that the team travels to Dave and Andrea’s home circuit at Waterford Hills in Michigan where each began their racing careers to celebrate Robertson Racing’s historic Le Mans 24 Hours podium. Both the #40 machine, which ran faultlessly throughout the race, as well as the second #04 car, will be on display at the party.

After that preparations will continue for the Mid-Ohio round where a historic moment in ALMS history could be made.

“At the moment I can’t say too much but we’ll be making an announcement shortly,” added Smith.

Hmm, I wonder what that "historic moment" could be?

sounds like they have a new program to announce, but for some reason I think it will be much less exciting than that.
