Mclaren and Aston is definitely rock vs. hard place as far as a 12 or 24 hour GT3 car goes. Even if part of the TRG reliability issues was down to GTD spec or the extremely gentleman-heavy lineups, the surviving Craft AMR car in Dubai did not exactly have a trouble-free run either.

Its odd.. there was said to be someone reported to be interested in driving in the B12, with a view to buying their Z4.. and they were apparently told the car wasnt coming... overnight!

So what can the organisers do to minimise the pikers?

Attach a large bond to the entry fees? As in, the bond will be refunded once the car turns a wheel in anger on the Mount?

As ****ed off as I am right now and yeah I'm really ****ed off, these things happen even with the best of intentions, it's quite possible that Vitaphone were coming down and a sponsor pulled out at the last minute. It happens

Never seen the BMW in the flesh so not happy. Really not happy

I know that Craillsy said that no cars missed out, but something just doesn't sit right when entries are coming in from everywhere, there is an entry freeze and now we are in this situation where we could be starting with about 10 cars less than the 55 limit ?
