Whatever his wallet says has nothing to do with the cockpit. Its likely those drivers would be in rides regardless of what Tucker does. He want to race fine, he's where he belongs in LMP2 and now maybe the ONLY LMP2 for the other 7 races.

Good news for Dyson, but the sponsor announcement makes me worried about Gunnar's LMPC program.

The pics of the dyson car with g-oil sponsorship still has the wide rear wing, don't they have to change that for this season?

I dont think they have to change it , but they wont qualify for a Le Mans place with it , afaik ?
Which is not on ..... as Dyson doesnt want to go to LM , and is an unfair advantage against teams that do . |

But for ALMS(non ILMC rounds) it's looking like: (correct me if I'm wrong) LMP1: (1)Muscle Milk AMR/Pickett Racing- Lola Aston Martin (1)Dyson Racing- Lola AER (1) Intersport Racing- Lola AER ? Teams in question for LMP1 appear to be Highcroft, and Autocon. LMP2: (2)Level 5 Motorsports- Lola HPD (1)Signature Motorsports- Riley Ford (from Lime Rock) (1)Libra Racing- Radical NISMO |

Highcroft... as you say, in question for now. Intersport haven't made any announcements, and their website says looking for funded P1 drivers. Libra Racing... I wouldn't be holding my breath. |

Correct, to sum it all up things aren't looking good for both top prototype categories in 2011. The sad part is for the Long Beach round there's a large possibility that Lola will be the only chassis manufacture represented in P1/P2.

That's a surprise- I was expecting an Aston factory driver to get the third seat...

If/When Pickett decides to move from the driver's seat to the pit box, that team could potentially become a powerhouse in sportscar racing. Good to hear Lucas will be driving a prototype.

Gentilozzi is a team owner DaMatta and Junquiera are drivers. Robin Miller is writing about this series... What series is this, and is this the kiss of doom? --------------------- Good drivers though... wish/hope the car is up to the task.. |
