There is no issue around being able to speak freely.
We do it here (mostly) all the time But the honesty shown by recognising a desire for things to happen quicker than the high profile owner might expect, and recognising the need for some kind of coping mechanism for that disparity in results v's expectations sounds like someone who is actually a realist about future expectations I am sure things will be said in the heat of battle, when a 'wrong' requires immediate gratification, and the pit lane reporters will likely play to this to sexy up a story.. If it improves the show, and nobody gets hurt, then who cares? I actually miss some of the insight from Mr Jones & Mr Jones, its like #7 doesnt love them any more, not camping in their shed on race weekends to get a quotable quote from one of the brothers... |

10 years ago tonite... a band of diehards were glued firmly to their computer screens, on the SBR website no less, as pictures and announcements were released confirming that Mr Russell Ingall shall be joining SBR & Caltex in car #9 in season 2003 and beyond....
It would be nice to have something like that to look forward to again... *sigh* |

As do the cowboys players do up here. You see players rockin around only in toyota branded models like corollas, rav 4's and others as part of their contracts. And in turn toyota gets to back one of the best attaking teams in the comp. And have sensible drivers behind the wheel (i would know one time i tried to race one of the players, who didnt bother.) Seeing that a toyota won the top award for best car with their 86 in alot of car reviews, maybe this will be the year of the cowboys.
