I am enjoying this Diffey/Fish/TK trio as Tom has been roasting drivers constantly.

Yep. Went for a dodgy lunge down the inside of Kubica at the first high speed right hand corner of the Porsche Curves. He lost control, went through the gravel trap and just tapped the barrier.

Initially he didn't even pit after the incident but has now conceded the floor damage is too much to continue without repairs.

Thanks. That's a real shame for Porsche, but this is what Estre (and to a lesser extent, Vanthoor) does.

Good battle between the Inter Europol and Team WRT. Kubica is close behind, made a pass at Arnage, but went off the road doing so and had to give the place back. The NASCAR is doing a good job and more than holding its own.

I do wonder if Button will be pushing for a Le Mans seat in a Hypercar next year.

Looking at the driver's best lap times, all the Iron Dames are on about 3:54/55 whereas the #56 has their silver driver about that pace, Cairoli a couple of seconds quicker and the bronze a lot slower. So it might come down to the balance of how much more time Cairoli can get in the car compared to PJ Hyett.

#8 lost ~8 seconds in what should have been identical pit stops for it and #51. That seems to have happened quite a few times to Toyota across the race so far.

Edit - Something is up with #8, Buemi asking the engineer how ?? can be unlocked, told to "push it forward and roll it back."

Dont want to jinx it but this has been an amazing job so far by Inter Europol.

Nice job by Glickenhaus to repair the #708 so fast.


LOL Literally 30 seconds later and the Inter Europol car is in the gravel. Why does this always happen to me?
