Also just red on old ad cafe that jnr Johnson in the frame to partner chaz for the enduros, surely Johnson would be better paired with frosty given Richards departure.

Steve Owen will be paired with Frosty, so they both can't team with him.

TDR's preferred option is to keep their REC and team with Tekno. Going to BJR would mean they would have to hand the REC back in.

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
With Campbell Little moving from FPR to DJR, who will it effect the most. Will DJR benifit from his knowledge, or will it hurt FPR with him not there.
I know that this year he was in Charlie corner, but his presence was felt through the four car garage.

So will next yr be another 888 v FPR, or will someone suprise the applecart?

I don't think there will be much in the Intellectual Property Dept, but in the engineering setting up, that will get down to each driver. this was evident this year with FPR and T888 customer cars, same Coft construction, just how each team set it up.

Campbell has some knowledge, but I don't think it will hurt FPR(or what ever they call themselves- since FPR are gone) , it is still back to the driver and engineer.

This was evident with T888 cars, it seemed only Tekno , once they got the right setup could challenge T888.

Interesting thoughts though on how the movement of personnel from the teams over xmas/new year period , will it bring benefits ?

"I'm in Perth to go secure my new finance in a NEW race suit. Filming next years TVC for #NuStart Finance"

Are they an existing personal sponsor, or a will we see them as naming rights on the Merc?

Pretty avg information about what's happening with the Fiore REC, indeed!

Are V8SC in a position to buy back REC's at market value (or maybe slightly below), like they have in the past?

It would be a crime (maybe literally) if the Fiore's simply had no choice but to surrender it for free to avoid non-appearance fines.

Mind you, there are a lot of people simply abandoning their farms these days. Can't sell, too expensive to stay. Answer? Cut losses and run?

In addition I am now almost certain the D'Alberto's are moving their REC into TEKNO to run their dormant second car under the D'Alberto #3 banner.

The sale of their Walky commodore back to that stable, plus the sale of various other infrastructure, minus the annual accrued costs of running an independent operation, staff etc. now gone, plus the usual amount of family money chucked in = that would just about cover it, wouldn't it?!

I think it's definitely a goer. It's just a simple matter of how much Bellmont/Centaur signage will be on the car vs. other corporate branding they might be able drum up.

They'll leave it to the Dumbrell's, who will either:

1: Buy it off Dodo to run it (budget/pay driver pending), keep as a spare and/or sell at a later date. Or

2: Sell it for Dodo on my105 and collect a commission from the sale. Keep an eye out! Or

3: Dodo themselves might sell it back to Triple 8 at a severely reduced rate.

Either way an expensive exercise for Dodo. They've had some rather weird approaches to Supercar sponsorship over the years, haven't they?
