Richards has never run his own car in any endurance events, whether it be the 24hr, Sandown, or the Showroom Showdown.
If not PHR, how about the second Monaro? Or one of the overseas Porsche's? |

AFter the huge bagging he gave the car last year, it would quite funny to see him race the Monaro this year. Maybe a Cirtek seat

Is there going to be a return of the Cirtek guys?
I know Peter Hills of Mondeo fame allegedly has the 2002 car in his workshop, but it hardly constitutes a works effort |

According the MSN a while back Cirtek were returning with 1 or two cars, maybe to hook up with Hills for a 2 or 3 car team. A pity we haven't seen Hills Porsche on the track so far this year.

Having seen the bulk of teh Porsche's engine all over the ground at the AGP like at a motor wrecker's yard, I am amazed it was as competitive at Bathurst as it was.....

Yeah I would count on Cirtek being back at this years race this year. As Racer said, 2 cars is the talk plus the Hillsy car. It is true about Peter having last years POrsche with lead 16 hours of the 24 last year. I believe a great move for Hills.
Also Ciekel Motorsport are aiming to come back with 2 Porsches this year. Last edited by D.R.T.; 14 Jun 2003 at 13:14. |

OK ST's and FT's have a HUGE entry for Wakefield Park next week:
Walter - Peugeot Morgan - Alfa Byers - Sierra Dale - Primera TBA - Primera Gurr - BMW Searle - BMW Henderson - Vectra And that's all folks....8 St's - coupled with 4 Future Tourers and two sports sedans all they can muster up is a 14 car padded field. Not really good enough is it? Especially when you consider, at the same meeting, there are currently: Production Sports Cars - 25 Alfa/Daewoos - 25 Group S - 28 Group N - 32 Kingswood - 24 HQ's - 36 Certainly the odd category out.... So where did the Hills Mondeos end up?? And how long has a Sierra been a pukka SuperTourer??
On sheer carspeed, the 2 BMW's should street the field.... |

Be interesting to know which one it is, the only Sierra truly built for ST was the Steve Ellery one, which is in Rob Tweedie's hands now

Have to plead ignorance here as I don;t know - just have the basic entries available at this stage - I could find out more on Sunday at the All British Meeting and let you know when I get on line next week (I am staying at Wakefield Park from Friday this week 27th through to July 14th - 3 weekends in a row of Wakefield Meetings

I can't wait for the July 5/6 meeting in Warwick. The last thing i heard was that we were going to sacrifice a HQ Holden to keep us warm...

Not at this stage - I am still waiting on an 'official' answer from Oran Park - I have offered to time every one at no charge to the track or competitors - but they must think there is a trick as they won;t give an answer yet...
If worse comes to worse I'll sit at the end of pit lane and time them from there - it's an open test day! Will try and find out more on Thursday.. |

So did anyone time the Konica Supercar test session at QR on Monday... or the FF session last Sunday?? Its hard to make sense of the noise from various places without the comfort of a RaceTime/Natsoft official timing on the day....
