Actually, if the yellow was much lighter, let's say, a white. And the black was replaced with blue trim. And a bit of red was added, I would like that the best, because it would look like a car designed, built and raced by a company from the USA. Like this, for example:



(Yes, I know several other countries use red, white and blue in their flags but at least it would be better than yellow, black and barbed wire.)

Surely the yellow should be replaced with Silver and it should look something like the 1999 Goodwrench C5-R's



Only good looking Livery Corvette have ever had IMO, the yellow and black ones have all been rather boring and bland.

Prospeed did this at the last round of the FIA GT3, ran the old Livery through practice and qualifying and put on the new livery for the races.

The Flat Black look is great, yellow of course is Corvette's thing, but that test car was slick!

hard to tell if there is any differences. I guess it could be a variation of their '11 car and they're running it in the flat black so as not to give off any 'secrets' although, i did notice a fan in the rear in one of those shots... thoughts?

Did you get any word on the chassis numbers? They ran C6GT-001 and 002 in 2009 and apparently in 2010. Doug Fehan said, at Road America in 2009, that 2 customer cars were under construction. Since, to my knowledge, they weren't sold in 2010, it would make sense for the factory to use one (or both) of the new cars.

Anyone have the inside scoop?

There were 5 cars in various states of build when I visited P&M last winter. 001, 002, the display roller, and I'm assuming 003 and 004 that either never found homes, or were never for sale.

On rlm interview at petit, doug said they have cars for sale, so I'm guessing that means not sold.

No scoop here, David. I just got the link from a Facebook posting from ALMS. Let's face it, with the long off season upon us, even little things like photos from a test will get us looking ahead to Sebring and beyond. Glad you enjoyed them! Now back to the off season! :boring:
