With the recent Fuji Oak announcement we seem to have few one off entries planned for some of the remaining races...

CotA: 1x Corvette Racing, 1x ESM + 1x other (Krohn?)
Fuji: 1x Team Taisan, 1x Oak Racing
Shanghai: 1x Oak Racing
Bahrain: -
Interlagos: 1x Strakka Racing (if you only show up once it kinda counts...)

... which isn't bad considering that the full season entry numbers are at all time low

All time low of a whole 2.5 seasons. Not that serious.

Yeah and we all know that this really has nothing to do with the series viability and instead is more because P2 teams can't sort the money out.
We have a growing P1 field, and GT is always going to be stagnant until they sort out where it's going in the future. Even so, Corvette are showing a bit of interest, Mclaren have supposedly got something in the works too. You make out as if we're gonna be getting 10 car grids. There's 30 cars racing for gods sake.

So please can you take your overriding negativity elsewhere? If it's not the tracks it's the car's, if it's not the cars it's the BoP, and if it's not the BoP we're just gonna be hearing more about the tracks. Frankly I think most of us have had enough. Yes we know the series has problems. We don't need them hyped up and forced down our throat every single damn time something is bought up.

I suppose, there is the chance I could be down there.

Whether I would come back for a second visit, however, will be dependent on being able to find good vantage points. Being hundreds of feet away, even if I have some height on the situation, will NOT cut it. I simply CAN'T see well enough for that. I NEED to be able to get close-in at at least some locations, like I do at the "old school" road courses.

Anyway. I'll decrease my volume.

There's a new poster for the Fuji event btw - photoshopping is still not perfect but it's nevertheless the best one in ages. Great color contrast

The posters just look like cut and paste jobs imo. Theyre decent but kinda lacking 'passion'. Mt. Fuji is in the wrong position but at least its prominent in the poster. One thing I do like is Toyota in the lead

It was actually the headline of the ACO article...

Mt. Fuji appears on the poster for the Japanese round

Personally I think they should go a style route such as this. Something that looks really well done, rather than a complete Photoshop job.

If that was your creation, I have to rate it as being nice, simple, and gets the point across. Sorta like some of the 1970's/1980's LM flyers/booklets.

Probably should have said it was from @lendurance on twitter!

But yes, simple and effective. I often feel the WEC posters have too much going on, and look worse for it.

Is this the official event poster?

If not then it should be. It's simple but really well executed. I love stuff like this. It's also good fun for spotting the different cars in the poster .

Makes sense, though I would have liked to see Dodge advertise what their car can do, as they purposed the SCCA to.

Also that poster! Looks very excellent. I made a small effort at collecting the Sebring posters but never really got into the Petit ones. I would seriously consider paying for this one.
